My journey in the world of Safrus began when I was just 19 years old.

I was privileged to learn how to write under the expert guidance of Rabbi Shimon Zeida, whose dedication to halachic detail and yiras Shamayim left a lasting impression on me.

Over the years, I further developed my skills through shimush - hands-on apprenticeship and mentorship - with many renowned sofrim and poskim, gaining deep practical knowledge in both writing and checking mezuzos, Tefillin, and Sifrei Torah.

 

I maintain an up-to-date certification from the Vaad Mishmeret STa”M, and I am in constant contact with Harav Avraham Tzvi Wosner, the head of the Vaad. Through these relationships, and through the strong connections I have cultivated with sofrim around the world, I am able to ensure that every item of STa”M I produce or sell meets the highest halachic and professional standards.

 

I decided to become a sofer and open a Safrus store because I saw how overwhelming and unclear the world of Safrus can be for so many people. There is a sea of mezuzos, Tefillin, and Sifrei Torah available - but do you really know who wrote your mezuzos? Was the sofer who wrote your Tefillin properly certified and yarei Shamayim? Do you understand what makes one mezuzah or pair of Tefillin cost more than another? I wanted to help people navigate this process with confidence and clarity, and to raise the standards of kashrus and integrity within our community for this beautiful and crucial mitzvah.

 

Every mezuzah, Tefillin, and Sefer Torah that passes through Pe’er STa”M is carefully selected from only the most exceptional sofrim - individuals whom are known personally and trusted for their skill, integrity, and devotion.
